Abigail Boucher is a Franco-American actress who splits her time between Los Angeles, California and Paris, France.
Born and raised in France, Abigail came to the United States in 1999 to study Theatre and Political Science at Smith College, MA. In 2002, she graduated with honors and moved to Chicago. Over the last few years, Abigail has worked both in the States and in France.
In Chicago, Abigail has worked with various theatre companies including Collaboraction, Nake Eye Theatre Company, The House Theatre of Chicago, 20% Theatre Company Chicago (a company co-founded by Boucher) and Strawdog Theatre, where she is a company member. This fall, Abigail starred in Strawdog Theatre's hit production of Old Times by Harold Pinter.
In Paris, France, Abigail worked with Julian Boal and the Groupe Théâtre de l'Opprimé (GTO), and studied with Pier-Paolo Blanc of Studio In Extprod' and film director Kim Massee at Artworx Films.
She recently appeared in her first independent short-film entitled Recessive, alongside Jessica Hudson - directed by Logan Kibens. The film has been screening in festivals across the USA and around the world.
